North Clayton Middle School FCCLA sponsors Breast Cancer Awareness Week
During the Week of October 24-28 North Clayton Middle School's FCCLA sponsored a school wide Pink Ribbon Week by distributing pink ribbons school wide; hanging signature banners; locker decorating contests, and sales of breast cancer necklaces, wrist bands and baked goods. The week concluded with a "pink out" day in which students donated $2.00 and wore pink shirts. Fifty percent of sales will be donated to Komen Atlanta to help support research and prevention of Breast Cancer.
